This video plays every single time that I open up my email. I finally discovered that it's because I shared it on Google Reader, but I kind of like that it happens, so I haven't deleted it from my Buzz time line yet.
On that same note, we received the City Center records and CDs this past week at work, and I'm so excited to have a copy in my hands! My job is pretty wonderful in many ways, but one of my favorite things about it is that I get to see something out from start to finish, from the original concepts to the holding the real-life physical copy. It's a really special feeling to be able to open a box of 50 records for the first time, and to see how everything has come together -- how the jacket looks and feels, how the the labels look on the vinyl, how the insert turned out with everything. It might be my favorite part ever. It feels like a good reward to keep you going for the next one, if that makes any sense. It's hard just starting at a screen every day and doing monotonous tasks in Photoshop and Illustrator, but it totally pays off.
SO RAD. This record might be my current favorite, so it's exciting that K's putting it out soon! May 10th, dudes! Yay!!
